Tesla to open access via Netherlands pilot project

An experiment involving non-Tesla EVs charging at Tesla’s expansive network has been launched in the Netherlands. Assuming it is proven to the satisfaction of Tesla USA, and other hurdles are cleared, we can expect expansion in the US.  

This short video covers the basics of participation in the experiment, as well as the cost per kWh of energy. It shows how to download the app, sign up, and plug in. The 13 Euro monthly fee translates to $15 US, and the 24 Euro cents per kWh of energy is $.28 US.
