A fond farewell...charge on Electric Auto
Announcing a transition in leadership.
By Raejean Fellows, ELECTRIC Auto Association Outgoing President
Our Electric Auto Association Chapters, members and national board have accomplished so much since I’ve had the honor to lead, first my local chapter in San Diego, followed by the national organization. After five years, I find it’s time for me to step aside as the great work we’ve accomplished over the past few years continues under new leadership.
Today the Electric Auto Association is stronger than ever and new Chapters from cities across the globe continue to join to educate their local communities about electric cars.
I’ve been inspired after meeting so many Chapter leaders and Electric Auto Association members who are so passionate about furthering the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).
Over this time, together we have:
Educated tens of thousands on the benefits of electric cars
Established many wonderful partners in the EV community, including our first international event, Fully Charged LIVE in Austin, TX
Added more than a dozen new Chapters, increasing our reach into new communities
Launched an EV Educator Certification Course
Enriched our Chapter educational toolkits with flags, banners, online tools like Zoom and Mailchimp, and the Chapter Presidents’ handbook
Increased our membership by more than 50%
I am pleased to announce our Board’s decision to appoint Director and Treasurer April Bolduc to the position of President. April has an impressive background in communications and in her own transportation electrification business, S Curve Strategies. Since joining the Electric Auto Association Board, she has been instrumental in our new website development and the creation of our blog. Here, we can all view and share an impressive collection of articles keeping us up to date on global and local EV news, a hallmark of the Electric Auto Association.
I thank you for your support and know that, even as we face this current time of a pandemic, we will never give up our quest for the switch to cleaner, electric transportation.
